The only way out is down

Twenty players. One hole. No floor.

Race the whole lobby to the bottom of a tower nobody has seen before, steering past everything trying to stop you on the way down. Hit a hazard and you start again from the top.

How a round runs

A run takes a couple of minutes. Losing one takes about four seconds.

Stand on the platform

Twenty of you, one platform, one hole in the middle of it. Three-second countdown.

Drop

Under the hole is a tower generated from a fresh seed. Nobody in the lobby has played it.

Steer the whole way

Read each floor in half a second, pick a line through the gap, and do it again on the next one.

Land first

One winner. Victors head back to the lobby with shards to spend on cosmetics and emotes.

Two ways to fall

Settle it in a race, or find out how deep you can go.

Race

First to the bottom

The lobby drops into a full tower on a three-second countdown. One winner takes the round — everyone else gets to explain how it happened.

Infinite Fall

There is no bottom

The tower keeps building itself under you for as long as you keep falling, and the only thing that matters is the depth number. A daily seed resets globally, so everyone is chasing the same shaft.

Why it's different

Dropper has been done before. Not like this.

Falling is a skill

You are never just falling. You steer the entire way down, learn the hazards, and memorise the seed. Everyone has the same job — you get to be the best at it.

Nobody memorises this tower

Every course is built from a seed at one of five difficulties the host picks. Trillions of possible towers, so “I've played this one” is something nobody gets to say.

Hate the tower? Vote it out

Drew a genuinely miserable seed? Call a vote, and the tower is thrown out and rebuilt for the round.

Twenty-player lobbies

Friends join straight through Steam, and bots fill the empty slots so three people still get a full race.

Win it, wear it

Victories earn shards for the cosmetic slot wheel. Hats, colours and emotes — trophies to flex on your friends.

A lobby worth hanging out in

Between rounds the lobby is an open space to parkour around, try on new cosmetics and emote while the host gets the next race ready.

Screens

Captured in-engine. Full resolution in the press kit.

Questions

How many players?

Up to twenty per lobby, online. Bots fill any empty slots, so a small group still gets a full race.

Can I play alone?

Yes. Dropper supports single-player, and Infinite Fall's daily seed gives you the same shaft everyone else in the world is falling down that day.

Is it the same tower every time?

No. Every course is generated from a seed at one of five difficulties, with trillions of possibilities. You can share a seed if you want a rematch on the same one.

What platforms?

PC via Steam.

When does it release?

Dropper is in Steam Next Fest from 19–26 October 2026. Wishlist on Steam to hear when the full release dates.
